Originally released during the 1980's, a decade of American cold war yuppie machismo, Troma's War was our answer to Reagan and Rambo. This Director's Cut is the very first time Troma's War has appeared the way it was meant to be seen, with all the full frontal assault and full frontal nudity left intact. At long last, here is the messy, bloody, mutant-filled, uncut vision which is Troma's War. The Troma Team dedicates this war to you, our fans, who had the good sense to wait for the 'good stuff' they knew they were missinf from the original theatrical and video versions of the film. It has been said that Troma's War employs more bloody 'squib' effects than any movie in history ouside The Wild Bunch and the films of John Woo. Whether or not this is true, I have no idea. But I do know that Troma's War was the first film to squib each of a woman's breasts and have them burst upon being shot, which is far more historically significant. We thank you for supporting this most 'Troma' of Tromovies! So, continue to fight the good fight!
