When it comes to selling or trading in your movie collection, the format can often impact the value and desirability of your items. At The Beat Goes On, we primarily focus on providing our customers with the best viewing experience, which typically comes from widescreen formatted films. However, we understand that there are exceptions to every rule.
We generally do not purchase full-screen films, but there are certain circumstances where we make exceptions. If a film or television show was originally released in a full-screen format and that's the only format available, we are open to purchasing it. This is often the case with some older or rare films where a widescreen version was never created.
Additionally, we might make the occasional bargain bin purchase for full-screen films. These are selectively considered on a case-by-case basis, usually when the film is in excellent condition and is a title we believe our customers would be interested in.
So, if you have a full-screen film that falls into one of these exception categories, feel free to bring it to one of our nine convenient locations across Southern Ontario. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff will be happy to evaluate your film and provide a fair offer.
At The Beat Goes On, we strive to maintain a wide-ranging collection of movies in the preferred widescreen format, but we are also passionate about preserving and providing access to unique and hard-to-find films, regardless of format. Our goal is to ensure that movie enthusiasts can find and enjoy the films they love, in the best possible format available.
