• Plot: Two-time Academy Award winner Sally Field (1984 Best Actress in a Leading Role, “Places in the Heart”; 1979 Best Actress in a Leading Role, “Norma Rae”) returns for a second season of fun in “The Flying Nun.” Sister Bertrille uses her ability to become airborne – via her “jet” cornet – to help others, whether they want it or not. Although her aims are always benevolent, her means are often bemoaned by Mother Superior (Madeleine Sherwood). The other Sisters (Marge Redmond, Shelley Morrison, Linda Dangcil) must cope with their beloved Sister’s aerodynamics and antics as she flies in to and out of trouble with her canine companion, Horatio. This hilarious season features memorable guest stars such as Jamie Farr, Paul Lynde, Rich Little, and many others!
