THE DEEP END OF THE OCEAN (WIDESCREEN/FULL SCREEN)

Details

• Release Year: 1999
• Genre: Drama
• Plot: Michelle Pfeiffer ('One Fine Day', 'Up Close and Personal', 'Wolf') delivers a most powerful performance as a wife and mother faced with rebuilding her life, and her family, after they've been shockingly torn apart. Based on Jacquelyn Mitchard's best-selling novel, THE DEEP END OF THE OCEAN is both riveting and moving. When their son suddenly disappears, the pain of a lost child ravages the cappadora family for nearly a decade. But it is upon his sudden return that the entire family must come to grips with a painful reunion of their own. Treat Williams ('Deep Rising', 'The Devil's Own', 'The Phantom') is masterful as Michelle Pfeiffer's hard-working and forgiving husband. Whoopi Goldberg ('How Stella Got Her Groove Back', 'Ghost', 'Sister Act') shines in her dramatic role as Detective Candy Bliss.
