When he wakes up, he finds himself in a strange new city called New Kelp City, with a case of total amnesia. Back in Bikini Bottom, Patrick, Sandy, Mr. Krabs, and Squidward decide to go and find SpongeBob to get him home, but when they do find him, he has no memory of ever meeting them before. Now, SpongeBob must decide whether to stay in New Kelp City as its hero or to go back home with his friends.
