• Plot: Incubated as a parody within Eric Idle's post-Monty Python BBC parody of small town Britain - Rutland Weekend Television - The Prefab Four - Dirk (Idle), Nasty (Neil Innes), Stig (Ricky Fataar) and Barry (John Halsey) invaded the Colonies - so to speak - in 1978 via All You Need Is Cash, the seminal mockumentary that aired in prime time. This many years later it has not only stood the test of time, thanks to some great performances and those incredible songs from Innes, it is fully integrated into Beatles lore. And perhaps this HD restoration from the original film stock, combined with a harder-rocking 5.1 mix will spark a new Rutlemania. For extras, Idle sits in for a new interview with yours truly and we have coaxed Executive Producer Lorne Michaels to kick in the original Rutles clip that appeared on an Idle-hosted Saturday Night Live.
