Et comme si ce n’était pas suffisant, il est aussi aux prises avec le chef incompétent de la sécurité de l’aéroport (Dennis Franz) ainsi que le commandant têtu de l’escouade anti-terroriste de l’armée, tout en sachant que sa femme (Bonnie Bedelia) est à bord d’un avion a court de carburant qui tourne au-dessus de l’aéroport !
