• Plot: Twelve-year-old Annie Lamm's parents have decided she should spend the summer with her Grandpa Donald while they enjoy a second honeymoon. Annie is less than enthused, and even more disappointed to discover that Grandpa's 'beautiful house on the beach' is a dilapidated wreck filled with a lifetime of junk and clutter. With no friends, no computer and nothing good to eat, Annie is miserable and decides to run-away back to her home in New York City.
