Instead, suspicions increase. Freedom fighters in Holland suffer heavy casualties after Carla arrives there. To prevent further losses, Deventer asks that the secret attack on Arnhem be cancelled. But the military has a different solution: cancel the girl. Victor Mature as a Resistance leader adds to the cloak-and-dagger intrigue of this thriller featuring dazzling Netherlands locations.
