Cette nuit-là, alors que Clara dort, le Casse-Noisette prend vie pour chasser le Roi des souris qui a envahi le salon de Clara. Elle se réveille et vient en aide à Casse-Noisette, mais le Roi ded souris lui jette un mauvais sort qui la rend minuscule.
