The Stars Here

The Stars Here are a five piece rock 'n' roll band from Waterloo, ON.
By taking their cues from their idols, (The Band, The Hellacopters, Gram Parsons, and Neil Young), The Stars Here have distilled a sound based on great melodies, stacked harmonies, and vintage guitars through vintage amplifiers.
Fresh off the success of 2007's "Fitzcarraldo" LP, The Stars Here are back in the studio crafting the album by which all their future endeavours will be measured.

Fitzcarraldo is available at The Beat Goes On - Kitchener, Waterloo & Cambridge.

Dave Asks:

Hey Alan! Love your program. Back in the late 80's early 90's I saw a band in Kitchener at a small bar. The band was called "The Phantoms." I purchased a cassette at the show and loved it. It has since been eaten by an old machine. Do you have an idea if I can buy it on CD format? I have been looking with no success.
